Normec is a precision machined parts supplier specialising in stainless steel and nickel alloy components.

The sectors served by Normec include medical, defence and aerospace, photonics (laser and fibre optics), textile testing equipment, ultra high vacuum and connectors. Normec operates an AS9100 revision B & BS EN ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and can offer full traceability if required.

Normec is a family business with over fifty years of experience in engineering precision turned and milled components. We specialise in CNC turning and machining of stainless steel and nickel alloys to exacting tolerances.

In 1990 Normec acquired Ceramic Seals from Ferranti International plc. Ceramic Seals hermetically seals ceramic and sapphire to metal for vacuum and high temperature applications. In 1996 the operations of Normec were moved to purpose built premises on the Ceramic Seals site.
